Tech doesn’t have to be intense and overwhelming to understand. Utilizing Youtube, as well as other social media platforms, This personal project aims to combine my love of tech, design & videography to deliver tech reviews and explainers that are relatable, engaging and fun, with an aim to build a community that can learn about consumer tech at their own pace, without pressure!

Freelance Host + Videographer, MobileSyrup (May 2021 - Present)
For the past year, I have been involved in supporting behind-the-scenes for MobileSyrup video content as a videographer, brainstorming ideas to shoot the most interesting B-Roll possible. I have also contributed as a host for one of their Youtube Channel videos.

L&D Operations Associate Manager, DECIEM (June 2021- December 2021)
In this role, I continued to fine-tune my skills in Educational Content Creation, Hosting, and Project Management.
With main tasks including:
🧠 - Managing DECIEM’s internal communication platform. Looking at analytics to create engagement strategies for our worldwide audience.
👩🏻💻- Balancing creative duties in all aspects of content creation: brainstorming, pitching, writing, and hosting. Creating engaging graphics, as well as shooting and editing videos.
📖 - Supporting various departments with content curation & copywriting for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.
Store Director, DECIEM (February 2017-June 2021)
As a Store Director, I developed my curiosity & kick for building teams from the ground up. In this role, I optimized Operations and Customer Loyalty for 3 Toronto Stores, including one of the top-selling stores in Canada (Square One) & the Flagship location at Distillery District.

🤳🏼- Social Media & Brand: Being on-screen talent for Instagram, Tik Tok & deciem.com. With Important achievements including: Being the first DECIEM Instagram Live Q&A Host (Knowvember Campaign 2020) , as well as creating educational vertical content for Sephora Canada.
🤝🏼- Partnerships: Hosting various private events, customized visits for partners & led interactive virtual store experiences with live Q&A’s for e-commerce partners overseas.

Freelance Graphic Designer, TORSTAR (November 2020-May 2021)
As a freelance designer for Torstar Local, I developed illustrations and Ads (static, HTML 5 & Video) aiming to increase awareness for new App features, as well as marketing local businesses, all targeting 12 different Ontario-based markets.
